The Colony Room Club in Soho is famous for being a haunt of celebrities and the ultimate bohemian hangout, so imagine how honoured we felt when they invited us to put the cherry on top of their event and be the “highlight of the night!”
This legendary drinking den is sadly being threatened with closure, but this certainly didn’t stop their fundraising Carpe Noctum Ball going with a swing.
Our Polka Dot Girls were only too pleased to don their fifties finery and weave their way through the guests, offering them cigars and other treats from their retro cigarette trays.
Oui Can-Can similarly sprung into their inimitable high-energy action and wowed the crowd with their unique and exhilarating acrobatic show.
All in all the party was a great success. We only hope that what Sebastian Horsley has described as, “a living work of art,” manages to survive.
